May 1st celebrations, promoted by Espaço Mira for the event “fora inverno, já era primavera, o verão seria glorioso”,
curated by João Terras and José Maia.
Manuel Mesquita and Mafalda Santos present a visual and musical drift, reusing part of the video animations that were the basis of the exhibition “Mira Técnica” presented by both at Espaço Mira in 2016. Anchored on the reference of the “mira técnica”, the test card that occupied our television screens between programs (from the times of Telescola- TV hoomeschooling), the video they present twists in the indefinite space of waiting and anticipating what the future may hold for us through this domestic window to the world.
